Increase Your Energy Levels

It has been suggested that many cases of chronic fatigue have been caused by vitamin and mineral deficiencies. The number of people who report being tired all the time (T.A.T.) is increasing. The use of stimulants such as caffeine, nicotine and amphetamines places a great strain on the body. Although most of us use coffee and tea as 'pick me ups' they, in the end, tend to make the fatigue worse, often producing (at least after an initial 'kick') the symptoms that we are trying to alleviate.

Supplements to improve your energy levels

Vitamin B complex

These are essential for the functioning of the nervous system and help to boost energy levels. Take 50 to 100 mg daily as a Vitamin B complex.

Iron

Iron is necessary for the production of energy and for the immune response and forms a part of the hemoglobin that carries oxygen in the blood stream. Take 10 to 15 mg daily to improve your energy levels.

Magnesium

Magnesium works to create energy by breaking down sugar stores in the liver and it is also necessary for strong healthy bones. Supplements are often used to treat fatigue and should be taken with calcium at about 450 to 650 mg per day.
